Bath Brush and Beyond

have had my dog groomed at several different places around town over the last 6 years or so, and I have to say that this place is the best. First of all, their customer service is excellent. Apparently, my dog is slightly too tall to be a "miniature" poodle, though he is lightweight, and while I was quoted one price on the phone, they asked for something higher when I came to pick him up. When I expressed unhappiness that it had been misquoted, they explained the issue, which I understood, but they also, as a courtesy, charged me the lower price I had been originally quoted, which was very smart on their part because it means that they now have a new client who will be bringing repeat business. They explained to me that they will be charging the higher price from here on out, which I understand. I will just have to bring him in every OTHER month instead of every month, as I live on a fixed income and can't afford what I had originally intended, which was to bring him in every month. As for the groom itself, I examined it carefully when I got him home and was very impressed. They did exactly what I had requested, which was rather specific: a puppy cut over the body, shorter on the feet, a shaved nose, and a long flag on the tail, as well as the typically shaved naughty bits for hygienic purposes. In addition, the groomer fixed the botched-up job I had done on his head when I had attempted to groom him myself a couple weeks ago. I neither have the proper equipment nor the hand strength and stamina to do a proper job, which is why I had decided to stop trying to do it myself and just take the grooming fee out of my grocery money. (I need to lose weight anyway!) The groomer was really expert, and the business practices are really very good. There was only one small issue, and that is that there is at least one toenail that is quite ragged, but sometimes this happens when you trim a dog's nails and I certainly would not "ding" them any stars for this. As far as I am concerned, the work was pretty close to perfection. Another thing I appreciated is that when I came in and had to fill out paperwork, while juggling a dog, a cane and a big purse, they very quickly provided me a chair to sit in while I filled out my paperwork because I am a disabled lady of a certain age and could not stand for the length of time necessary. They were very kind, which means a lot. Obviously, I highly recommend this place to one and all.

Auroo looked amazing!! I can’t believe how good she looked. I wasn’t for sure she was my dog! Her first groomer trip ever our third rescue and she was matted bad!! they did wonderful!! will go back! quite expensive but i think worth it for the outcome!

Duke (and Hailey) always feel and smell terrific following their appointment, and -- equally importantly -- seem to like Jade.

Jade did a super job with my very-matted miniature Schnauzers. They look terrific. :-)

Great job, my dog looks great and it was easy booking online.

This was our 2nd visit. Scruffy was so clean, cute and happy when I picked him up after the first visit. When he was ready for another grooming we both had a great experience. I shared that Scruffy was a Houdini and has fatten out of at least 4 different kinds of harnesses. He was fitted with a wider collar and a leash that wraps around his body so he can't escape and IT WORKED! We are both happy to go on walks and prices are extremely reasonable and affordable. If you go there be prepared to have a well groomed and well cared for furbaby(s)!!!

Kayla did a gentle and fabulous job on our old girl Tock. We are very grateful to her and Tock feels much better for the cleanup.

Ohhh, Leo did such a great job on our dog Prince. He went in a shaggy mess with a couple mattes and came out trimmed, primped and gussied up with a bow ready for St. Patty's Day!
