5+ stars....  I am an experienced dog owner and familiar with Marin groomers over 35 years and 4 golden retrievers (plus earlier pets) we've owned as a family.    Leo is a much beloved family pet first and foremost.   He is also a show dog.    I sought out Spot because of recommendations received for both its grooming and handling of the dogs.   Spot does Leo's  grooming when he's not in the show ring. (Show grooming is done by his handler at the time of events because it requires very breed specific grooming in all components).   Katherine is aware of this being herself familiar with ring standards.  She is wonderful knowing how far to tidy him up "in between" with basic bath, paw, nail trim in which he looks beautiful.   Finally, of primary importance to me is the quality in handling and treatment while at the groomer.   Rough or casual treatment is (something observed with other groomers) is not acceptable for me.  The way Leo is handled at Spot in my presence is always appropriate and more importantly he displays the same happy well adjusted temperament after his visit as he does prior to his grooming.         Spot and Katherine deserve the highest rating for consistent exemplary service.   Please forward this review to the owner.    Thank you. ps... nice and clean facility is also appreciated!

Hands down the best experience. Professional, friendly, clean, experts. The staff is attentive to both dog and owner. You can feel that they are genuinely animal lovers. Great cut for our Yorkie!
